Killarney National Park is 10,000 hectares of beautiful lakes and mountains and boasts one of Ireland's finest ecosystems. Explore the park by walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, on a jaunting car or by horseback. Keep an eye out for the park's most famous residents the red deer and all the other different types of wildlife within the park.
While in the park visit the grand Muckross House and enjoy a cup of tea inside the building to recharge your batteries. Make your way up to Torc Waterfall or to the Killarney Valley which is steeped in history with pre-Christian ruins, monasteries, castles and many more sites to be discovered.
Why not make use of Killarney's beautiful lakes and go on a guided boat tour to Innisfallen Island or the Bronze Age copper mines and watch out for the White Tailed Sea Eagles that regularly fly over the lakes.
