Killarney Golf & Fishing Club

Killarney hosted the Irish Open in 2010 and in 2011 in the magnificent Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, which dates back to 1893. It was created by members on land donated by the Earl of Kenmare. However, it moved in the late 1930’s to Mahony’s Point and in 1937 became the Killarney Golf Club.

There are three courses, Mahony’s Point, Lackabane and Killeen, with Mahony’s Point being the most suitable to the majority of golfers and Killeen offering a much more difficult course.

The club is on the edge of Killarney National Park with its stunning national scenery.
